USC701 Add Extra Relay
UAP1062 - USC Application
|

This application illustrates the use of using the transistor output as
a third relay.
Two connection diagrams are provided;
- The 24V relay version will work provided the power supply is between
8 and 45Vdc and the relay coil voltage is the same as the supply voltage.
The maximum current draw allowed for the relay coil is 150mA.
- The 12V relay version will work on relays that draw up to 50mA(240
ohms).
The auxilary voltage output must also be set to 12V.

The upper trip and lower trip on extra relay have no time delay function.
Upper trip is set in con_c and the lower trip point is set in con_d.

This application has full direct acting relay capabilities with adjustable
upper trip, lower trip, on delay and off delay.
- The application operates on channel 1 by default, however this is
easily changed as relay 3 operates on the value in the stack when line
'Goto Relay3'
- The equation update timer is set on 0.2 seconds, if this must be changed
then Var00 ('1/Timer) must also be changed in the power on branch from
the default caculated value of 5 (1/0.2) for correct on and off delay
timing.
