Computer Adaptor - COA703

The COA703 is a piece of hardware that clips on to the top of a USC701 to enable an isolated serial data connection between a USC701 and an RS232 port on a personal computer.

Isolation between the PC and the USC701 the COA703 is achieved with optical isolators.

The USC configuration software is packaged with the COA703. This software is used to configure the USC701 into almost any signal conditioning module type.

Configuration S/W

The CAO703 is supplied with two versions of 'USC Config' and a printed user guide for 'USC Config 106'.

• USC Config 106 will only work on USC701 modules with internal software greater than 1.06.00, this is printed on the side label of the module (This represents almost all USC701 modules) Download Now.
• For older USC701 modules 'USC Config 105' must be used. Although USC Config 105 will work with all versions of the USC701 at this time it is recommended that all new USC701 modules be programmed with version 106, as compatibility is not guaranteed when reading programs from modules or downloading them from the Internet.
