Analogue Process Control Services a division of NESS Corporation
It has been three years since APCS became a division of NESS corporation, in that time many things have changed.
All our manufacturing details are now comparable with the NESS systems. APCS has always had a high level of automation in its documentation back end but now has improved with a full system rewrite during the difficult change over period.
APCS has retained its philosophy of customising products to suit the market need. This has been achieved by retaining control key processes. We have an assembly area of comparable size to our previous factory and have dedicated assembly and test personnel.
The biggest changes revolve around, purchasing, and sub-contracting.
All purchasing is done through NESS Corporation using their quality procedures.
Previously surface mount (SM) printed circuit boards (PCB) were sub-contracted along with the SM component procurement. When the purchased assemblies arrived we would component and function test with automated test equipment.
Now all SM PCB's manufactured in house by Nesstronics. The required SM components are purchased by NESS Corporation using their quality procedure. The assemblies are probe tested during manufacture.
As a result APCS has access to two electronic assembly areas on the one site at Seven Hills.
We have been busy for the last three years and have set the stage for improvements in quality and reduced operating costs.
