USC Config 106 Product Setup Program
A product SETUP installs run time files necessary to run the APCS program series.
Each program series is identified by the name that appears on the status bar when running and is also listed in the windows add remove programs utility (e.g. "USC Config 105" "USC Config 106").
- Download the setup program for "USC Config 106"
Click here to download:setup106r39.exe (6078 kB)
- Run the setup program and install in the default locations recommended.
- Run "USC Config 105 (and 106 beta)" and export any programs that you wish to import to 106.
- Run "USC Config 106" and import the programs.
- UN-install "USC Config 106 beta" if installed.
- UN-install "USC Config 105" if all your USC701 modules have internal software higher than 1.06.00.
- Now install the patch program if it is a higher issue.
USC Config 106 Product Patch Program
A product PATCH copies selected files over the top of a previously setup APCS program series. The product patch assumes that the correct setup program has already been run and has been installed in the default locations.
The current revision of 'USC Config 106"' can be determined by selecting 'edit' 'About' form the menu. The revision is the last two digits of the version number (Version 1.6.39 = revision 39)
- Download the patch program for "USC Config 106 Rev
39"
Click here to download: patch106r39.exe (659 kb)
- Run the patch program and install in the default locations
(if installed in the recommended locations)
- Start "USC Config 106" in the usual way, any previously made data will still be intact.
USC Config 106 changes
Version 1.06.39
- When using reverse window, the settings for ON and OFF
delays were reversed.
When readings programs from USC701 modules the module definition or properties screen will show correct ON/OFF time delays.
If an existing program were loaded from disk that uses reverse window the ON/OFF delays if different MUST be reversed before programming the USC701 module.
Version 1.06.38
- Add pre-set numbers into wizard "DC Signal" > "External I/O Ratio A" so that input is scaled to 0-100% and output are scaled to 0-100% automatically.
- Add to wizard "DC Signal" > "Ratio CH1 by Constant".
Version 1.06.37
- Correctly import relay PWM times greater than 160 seconds.
Version 1.06.36
The equation simulator was changed in r35 to refers to memories 4 to 9 as M4 to M9. This created a compatibility problem when importing and exporting to .usc files.
- When exporting data in the output source keys "AxSource", "O1Source", "R1Source", "R2Source" is changed to lowercase m if M4 to M9 are used.
- When importing data in the output source keys "AxSource", "O1Source", "R1Source", "R2Source" is changed to upper case M if m4 to m9 are used.
Version 1.06.35
- Correct problem that come ac ranges had a fast / slow DAC rate available on the wizard, this should not have been there. Ac measurements with sample rates <=500ms are at a switching frequency of 3972Hz while sample rates slower than that are at 900Hz.
- Increase the available PWM range on the relays from 1-160sec to 0.5-300sec.
- Allow values to be saved in unused input memories CH1, CH2, P1 and P2.
- Allow send memories CH1, CH2, P1 and P2 now required when they are used as variables.
- Upgrade the wizard PID algorithms to use less memory.
- Correct bug generated in the memory step simulator when RY1, RY2 on off commands are used.
- Correct bug in the memory step simulator generated when exiting and returning to the editor after using the step simulator.
- The equation simulator now refers to memories 4 to 9 as M4 to M9 not a mixture of Mem4 to Mem9, M(4) to M(9).
- The equation simulator now refers to variables 0 to 21 as V00 to V21 not a mixture of Var01 to Var21, V(0) to V(21).
- When M4 to M9 are not used within an equation 'NotSet' is now programmed into the USC701 to prevent confusion when logging values.
- Add program description to properties screen caption when verify wizard is run.
Version 1.06.34
- Remove Display M8 and M9 in equation editor.
- Remove Trim Con_J on 'Configure AM702 Trim Mode'
- Change -Ambient to "+DegC Internal" (This is a correction function is the same).
- Remove error message for 'Send M4' to 'Send M9' when no values are saved in them.
- Add code to prevent overrun when moving to last position in equation.
- Add PID to new module wizard.
- Re-posted the same version of the patch program 17/03/2004 as it updated one file incorrectly.
Version 1.06.33
- Correct problem when using with reading international windows setup. This problem introduced in 1.06.32.
Version 1.06.32
- When reading programs out of a USC if data conversion
errors occur their address is now reported and the read
process continues.
For more information see HLP1065.
Version 1.06.30
- Changed layout of 'Special Function Calculator' and 'Calibrate Input in Engineering Units' screens.
- Revised the readings log function to allow setting of
time between recordings, and option to stop after maximum
number of readings has been stored. Revised charting method
and added to ability to customize area displayed. - Improved the make table from entered points function; it should now please everyone instead of the few.
- Extensive changes have been made to the equation evaluator
and the methods available to simulate the different program
branches. Improvements include active simulation of lookup
tables, equation evaluation up to the step point, ability
to change the
initial conditions of all memories while simulating outcome up to stepped point. - Change use of major and minor program numbers stored
in USC when programmed.
Major now stores the 5 in 105 and minor now stores the revision number.
Issue History of "USC Config 106 Beta"

USC Config 105 Product Setup Program
A product SETUP installs run time files necessary to run the APCS program series.
Each program series is identified by the name that appears on the status bar when running and is also listed in the windows add remove programs utility (e.g. "USC Config 104" "USC Config 105").
For example: To upgrade from "USC Config 104" (any version except 105) to "USC Config 105"
- Download the setup program for "USC Config 105"
Click here to download: setup105r86.exe (6,019 kb)
- Run the setup program and install in the default locations recommended.
- Run existing "USC Config 10?" program and export any programs that you wish to keep.
- Run "USC Config 105" and import the programs.
- Use the windows add remove programs utility to un-install "USC Config 104".
USC Config 105 Product Patch Program
A product PATCH copies selected files over the top of a previously setup APCS program series. The product patch assumes that the correct setup program has already been run and has been installed in the default locations.
To determine if it is necessary to download and install a patch the revision of the currently installed program need to be determined. This is done running the application (Start, Programs, A.P.C.S. Pty Ltd, USC Config 105). On the edit menu (press Esc if the Open/New dialogue is open) select About. The revision is the last two digits of the version number (Version 1.5.87 = revision 87)
For example: To upgrade from "USC Config 105" to
revision 87.
- Download the patch program for "USC Config 105 Rev
87"
Click here to download patch105r87.exe (630 kb)
- Run the patch program and install in the default locations
(if installed in the recommended locations)
- Start "USC Config 105" in the usual way, any previously made data will still be intact.
USC Config 105 changes
Version 1.05.87
- When reading programs out of a USC if data conversion
errors occur their address is now reported and the read
process continues.
