APCS announces the release of the QLPI731 for isolation of up to four standard process signals with 4-20mA loop-powered outputs. All inputs and outputs are isolated from each other.
The QLPI731 is ideally suited where large numbers of signals need to be isolated &/or converted before connection to PLC, SCADA and DCS systems. Designed for use on a standard 35mm DIN-rail and with a width of only 60mm, this module is idea for "nest mounting" in field enclosures or as a space saver in larger control cabinets (15mm per channel).
A wide supply voltage on the output loop of 7.5 to 38V continuous makes it suitable for battery and solar powered applications. Double surge protection is standard in all APCS Series 700 loop powered modules to prevent failure due to spikes induced by DC switched inductive loads. Each input is rated at 500% continuous overload. Input to output isolation is in excess of 2kV rms.Front-mounted LEDs verify the function of each channel with a brighter output indicating a higher output signal.
